These are not times to be unaware of matters concerning our lives. Because, if we\u2019re unsure about where life\u2019s taking us, we\u2019ll remain stuck in yesteryear, wondering where did time go, while envying others for progressing with time. <br \/>\nWe\u2019ll fall prey to people who use us for their own agenda, because we  have none of our own. <br \/>\nSo don\u2019t be toppled by inertia, self doubt and hopelessness. <br \/>\nBecome introspective; get quiet before God to gain wisdom, and use that understanding to stand firmly in the knowledge of you. <br \/>\nIt\u2019s time to know ourselves and our worth. Because no matter how hard we try, if we\u2019re not discerning enough we will fall prey to the devil. Because no matter how hard we try, if we\u2019re not discerning enough we will fall prey to the devil. behind the smile, their eyes were screaming for their souls to be seen. <br \/>\nBecause everyone expects \u201cstrong\u201d people not to cry, not to show fear and to always be there for everyone How many times have we said, I\u2019ll do this later, I\u2019ll go there tomorrow, I\u2019m gonna take that holiday next year and that time never comes. Start making things happen in your life today- make experiencing joy a daily thing; enjoy the small victories. This doesn\u2019t mean living recklessly, but seeing the good in every situation and let nothing rob you of a joyful encounter. If you have to walk away from certain people, or certain places &#8211; do it, for your sanity and joy. Laugh more. Let your joy be infectious. The only time to reflect on the past is to remember what\u2019s good, things that make our hearts glad. Nothing will bring back yesterday, tomorrow is not promised; so why waste that energy when we could be living with peace of mind. Worrying comes from either looking behind, or looking beyond today. Our lives are intertwined from birth, and for the rest of our lives it will take a village, a community, a country for our survival. The food we eat comes from others planting the seeds, picking the produce, preparing it for consumption and getting it into the markets; the houses we live in are constructed by the hands of others; the job we have, someone hired us so we can provide for ourselves and family. I could go on and on to demonstrate our need and dependence for one another. So when pride rides up about self sufficiency, remember it took two people to create you; a whole healthcare system to sustain you; And God\u2019s grace and mercy to see you through. Those of us who believe that Jesus is our Lord and Saviour will reflect on the sacrifice He made for us dying on the cross at Calgary; and the goodness and mercy that His sacrifice has provided us. So every day we thank God for Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit, because without Him life is not worth living.
